Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen standards, and supporting the overall dining experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong food preparation skills, extensive kitchen experience, and a passion for culinary excellence. As a Chef de Partie, you will work closely with the head chef and other kitchen staff to deliver exceptional meals in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Develop, Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Oversee specific sections of the kitchen, such as grill, sauté, or pastry stations
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed during food handling and preparation
- Assist in meal planning and portion control to maintain consistency and quality
- Monitor stock levels of ingredients and communicate needs for replenishment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of your designated station throughout shifts
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service
- Serve dishes efficiently while maintaining high presentation standards
- Support training of junior staff members when necessary
Experience
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong background in food handling, safety procedures, and kitchen operations
- Previous experience working in the food industry with knowledge of meal preparation techniques
- Familiarity with various cooking methods and culinary skills across different cuisines is preferred
- Experience in serving guests directly or managing a section of the kitchen is advantageous
- Knowledge of restaurant workflows and food safety regulations is essential

Pay: $22.00-$45.00 per hour
