We are seeking a punctual, dedicated and skilled 1st Year Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and oil changes on vehicles, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, is detail oriented, has excellent customer service skills, and possess the ability to work with various hand and power tools. This position is essential in maintaining customer satisfaction through quality service and timely repairs. Preference given to applicants that reside in the Stony Plain/Spruce Grove area.
Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes and routine maintenance services on a variety of vehicles.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with Service Writers or Tower Operator about services performed and any recommendations for further maintenance or repairs.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use.
- Engage in heavy lifting as required during the maintenance process, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Stay updated on automotive repair techniques and dealership practices to enhance service quality.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a dealership setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Good mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various vehicle issues effectively.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed during vehicle maintenance tasks.
