Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Digital Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role involves operating digital printing equipment to produce high-quality printed materials efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate will have a background in manufacturing, packaging, or warehouse environments, with mechanical knowledge and experience in machining or forklift operation being a plus. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting where precision and quality are paramount.
Duties
- Operate digital press machinery to produce printed products according to specifications and quality standards
- Set up, calibrate, and maintain digital printing equipment for optimal performance
- Monitor production runs, troubleshoot issues, and perform minor repairs or adjustments as needed
- Ensure proper handling and packaging of finished products for shipment or storage
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment and material handling using forklifts if required
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to all operational procedures during production processes
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on digital press equipment
- Experience in manufacturing, packaging, or warehouse settings preferred
- Familiarity with machining processes is advantageous
- Ability to operate forklifts safely (certification preferred)
- Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality output
- Good organizational skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards
