Position Overview
We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team on a permanent part-time basis. The ideal candidate is passionate about retail, enjoys working with people, and is committed to delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner
- Provide product knowledge and recommendations to meet customer needs
- Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system
- Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising standards
- Assist with inventory management, stocking, and receiving shipments
- Handle customer inquiries, returns, and exchanges in accordance with store policies
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve sales goals
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic math skills and attention to detail for handling transactions
- Flexible availability, including some weekends and holidays as needed
- Interest in footwear and fashion is an asset
