Job Overview
We’re looking for a part-time who is reliable, creative, and customer‑focused Retail Associate to join our Bollivapes' team! This role combines in‑store retail responsibilities with daily social media content creation, so it’s a great fit for someone who enjoys both customer interaction and digital marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers, offer product recommendations, and provide knowledgeable, friendly service
- Restock and organize display cases and shelves
- Recount and verify inventory; report low-stock items
- Receive, unpack, and organize incoming product shipments
- Prepare and fulfill incoming orders placed through Uber/Skip
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer orders and inquiries via text and Instagram
- Create and assist with daily social media content (photos, videos, product features, announcements)
- Help plan and brainstorm marketing ideas for promotions and engagement
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including mopping, dusting, sweeping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Take out garbage, break down cardboard, and manage basic back‑of‑house upkeep
- Follow store policies, age‑verification requirements, and local regulations related to vape products
- Operate the POS system accurately, handle payments, and follow closing procedures for cash
Qualifications
- Previous retail experience; vape or specialty retail experience is an asset
- Proven experience creating engaging social media content
- Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with customers online and in‑store
- Punctual, dependable, and detail‑oriented
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
- Basic photography or mobile video skills (lighting, composition, short-form content)
- Reliable transportation to and from work
Additional Skills Valued
- Familiarity with vape devices, disposables, coils, e‑liquid types, and trends
- Experience with Instagram Reels, TikTok, or other short‑form content tools
- Graphic design or simple editing skills (Canva, CapCut, etc.)
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
