About the Role
- Provide high-level legal support on business law and corporate matters, with a focus on Indigenous economic development.
- Work closely with lawyers and be actively involved in legal files and client matters.
- Participate in client meetings, transaction calls, and internal team discussions.
- Coordinate workflows, manage deliverables, and ensure deadlines and priorities are met.
- Draft and prepare legal and corporate documents.
- Conduct due diligence and assist with corporate transactions.
- Support the legal team throughout the corporate transaction process.
- Identify opportunities and contribute to process improvements across the firm.
- Assist with marketing initiatives and strategic planning.
- Work collaboratively with the team while taking ownership and initiative over assigned responsibilities.
- Work in a hybrid environment with occasional office attendance. ( 1 to 2 days WFH)

- Salary range of $60,000 to $75,000 based on experience.

What You Bring
- 3+ years of experience in business law.
- Completion of a legal administrative assistant program.
- Experience working with Indigenous Nations and organizations.
- Strong technical proficiency and enthusiasm for legal technology.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Confident communication style with ability to hold teams accountable.
- Proactive mindset with capacity to anticipate needs and drive initiatives forward.
- Adaptability and grace under pressure.
- Practice management or paralegal training is considered an asset.
