We are seeking a friendly and motivated Retail Sales Associate to join our team. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
- Operate POS systems for transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Provide product information and recommendations related to gardening, horticulture, and landscape maintenance
- Maintain attractive merchandise displays through effective merchandising techniques
- Support inventory management, stock replenishment, and organization of the sales floor
- Assist customers with online orders and e-commerce inquiries
- Ensure the store environment is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times
- Communicate product features and benefits clearly to diverse customer groups, including multilingual support if applicable
- Handle customer inquiries professionally and resolve issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction
Skills
- Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus
- Experience with POS systems, cashiering, cash handling, and retail sales processes
- Knowledge of gardening, horticulture, landscape maintenance, or related fields is desirable
- Excellent organizational skills to manage inventory and merchandising effectively
- Customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport with diverse clientele
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and online order processing is advantageous
- Ability to work well in a team environment and adapt to fast-paced retail settings
- Demonstrated sales skills with a proactive approach to engaging customers and increasing store revenue
Pay: $45,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
