Job Overview
We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Hires to join our machine shop. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills and start a career. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, safety-conscious, and capable of working with others. Prior mechanical experience is a plus but not required, as training will be provided. This role is essential for and a great entry point. We are looking for support in two different departments. Physically fit and motivated to learn are assets. Training is very hands on and supportive with a growth plan in place. Resumes with three or more job related references will be favored.
Responsibilities
- Operate hand tools, power tools,
- Eventually be forklift certfied.
- Support machining tasks for project assembly
- Use calipers and other measurement tools to ensure precision in work
- Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to safety standards
- Follow detailed instructions from Journeyman to complete assigned tasks efficiently
- Familiarity with manufacturing environments is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of machining techniques is advantageous
- Experience with AutoCAD or similar design software is a plus but not mandatory
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, calipers, and CNC machinery is beneficial
- Strong interest in construction, manufacturing, or machining industries
- Ability to learn quickly and follow safety protocols diligently. This entry-level position provides valuable training opportunities for individuals interested in developing skills across multiple trades within manufacturing .
