Job Overview
You'll work with the team to ensure a smooth patient experience, including booking appointments, billing insurance, coordinating injury claim coverage, preparing patient rooms, taking calls, maintaining electronic medical records with strict confidentiality, and completing administrative tasks for practitioners. Adherence to procedures, checklists, and communication protocols is essential to create consistency and drive best practices between coordinators.
Job Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Deliver exceptional front-line customer service by warmly greeting patients, managing check-ins/check-outs, and creating a welcoming clinic environment
- Coordinate and manage appointment scheduling across multiple practitioners, optimizing clinic flow and minimizing gaps or delays
- Handle high-volume phone, email, and in-person inquiries with professionalism, accuracy, and efficiency
- Process payments, insurance claims, and direct billing while maintaining accuracy in financial transactions and daily reconciliations
- Maintain and update electronic medical records (EMR) with strict adherence to privacy and confidentiality standards
- Support patient experience by proactively addressing concerns, resolving issues, and ensuring seamless communication between patients and practitioners
- Assist practitioners with administrative needs, including preparing treatment rooms, managing schedules, and supporting clinic programs
- Ensure clinic cleanliness, organization, and adherence to health and safety standards
- Collaborate with the clinic team to improve processes, enhance patient satisfaction, and support overall clinic growth
Qualifications & Requirements
The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, eagerness, and passion for getting things done. A faster-than-average work pace is necessary, combined with an expectation for positive results. Change is an ongoing part of this job and will be approached with the support and guidance of management.
To excel in this role, you must possess at least 1 year of experience in customer service, with exemplary service delivery. As a natural problem solver, you must have exceptional communication skills, be efficient, resourceful, and adaptable. A passion for helping patients is essential. The ability to exercise sound judgment and juggle priorities is a must, as are superior organizational and coordination skills.
Pay: $18.25-$22.00 per hour
