Job Summary
Spectre Sealing is looking for a reliable Asphalt Raker / Paving Labourer to join our paving crew. The ideal candidate will have experience working in asphalt paving, sealing, and patch work, and be comfortable performing physical work in a fast-paced construction environment.
This position involves raking asphalt, assisting with paving operations, performing asphalt sealing, and completing patch repairs as part of our crew.
Responsibilities
- Rake and level hot asphalt during paving operations
- Assist with asphalt placement and finishing
- Perform asphalt patch repairs on damaged pavement
- Assist with asphalt sealing operations when required
- Perform surface preparation including sweeping and cleaning before paving or sealing
- Assist screed, roller, and skid steer operators when needed
- Use hand tools such as rakes, shovels, and lutes
- Help maintain a clean and safe job site
- Follow all job site safety procedures
Requirements
- Experience in asphalt paving, patching, or sealing preferred
- Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work
- Comfortable working around heavy equipment and hot asphalt
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a crew
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- Early morning start (5:00–6:00 AM)
- Occasional weekend work
