POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Operations Shift Supervisor, the Mill and Crusher Labourer will be responsible for supporting the milling operations by performing various tasks that ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the mill while adhering to safety and quality standards.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform various physical tasks as required, such as lifting, moving, and positioning materials.

Assist the Crusher Operator in the crushing plant as directed.

Assist mill operators with routine checks and adjustments to maintain production efficiency.

Operate basic machinery and tools under supervision and perform minor maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance.

Maintain cleanliness and order in the mill and crushing plant.

May be required to perform snow removal in the winter months.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the area of responsibility.

Comply with federal and provincial acts and regulations, and legal requirements.

Adhere to all relevant corporate policies and procedures.

Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or equivalent.
-
MTCU Basic Mill Process Operator Common Core.

Capable of performing physical tasks.
-
Legally entitled to work in Canada.

Valid Ontario driver's license.

Ability to work safely and effectively in a labour-intensive team environment as well as independently.

Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and follow instructions accurately.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

The role is located at the Redstone Mill, which is approximately 35 kilometers southeast of Timmins, Ontario, Canada.

The ideal candidate for the role will work a 5-5-4 rotation, 12 hours shifts.

Although you will be assigned a work schedule, this is not a guaranteed schedule of hours, and your work hours may vary with the needs of the company.
