Durham Medical is currently seeking a Full time Administrative Support Person. (40 hours per week, flexible daytime hours Monday - Friday). We are looking for someone who is friendly, hardworking and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate shall possess a High School Diploma plus 2 years related work experience. Candidate should demonstrate excellent communication, and must possess computer skills, strong organizational, time management and problem-solving skills. Must be flexible and have the ability to work independently.
Job Purpose
The Administrative Support Person provides clerical and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate response of accounts under his/her control. Responsibilities include providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. Supports managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication. Responsible for confidential and time sensitive material. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures. Ability to effectively communicate via phone and email ensuring that all Administrative Assistant duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner. May direct and lead the work of others. Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
General:
- Represent Durham Medical in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies as appropriate.
- Exercise professionalism in communication, work attendance habits, and attire.
- Attend weekly staff meetings and training as required
- Contribute to continuous improvement of Durham Medical processes
Therapist & Rehab Coordination Clerk:
- Schedule appointments with clients and therapists;
- Perform all required paperwork regarding quotes, delivery, assessment logs, demo equipment purchase orders and inventory tracking using business systems software and meeting set deadlines;
- Complete data entry of client information, details, and remarks as needed;
- Receive client payments accurately and completely;
- Maintain accounts receivable customer files and records;
- Follow established procedures for processing receipts, cash etc.;
- Investigate and resolve customer queries;
- Communicate with customers via phone, email, mail or in person;
- Keep up to date on company products and services;
- Follow requirements of ADP Policies and Procedures;
- Assist with equipment/product assembly as needed.
- Assist Customer Service as assigned by Supervisor.

Pay: $19.00-$24.00 per hour
