Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role involves operating and maintaining machinery to ensure efficient production processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with manufacturing environments, and familiarity with various tools and equipment. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic warehouse setting where safety, precision, and teamwork are paramount.
Duties
- Operate industrial machinery and equipment according to safety protocols and production standards.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment to set up, adjust, and troubleshoot machinery.
- Assist with the assembly of products or components as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of production output and machine performance.
- Follow safety guidelines at all times to prevent accidents or equipment damage.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and resolve operational issues promptly.
Requirements
- Prior experience in manufacturing, assembly, machanic job or warehouse environments is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on machinery.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques.
- Warehouse experience is a plus, especially involving forklift operation (certification preferred).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong safety awareness and adherence to safety procedures.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as required.
- Basic reading, writing, and communication skills necessary for documentation and teamwork.
Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
