Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable person to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Framing, concrete finishing, and the use of various hand and power tools. This role involves working on diverse projects including siding, framing, and concrete work, requiring physical strength and attention to detail. The person will play a vital part in delivering high-quality craftsmanship for residential and commercial projects, ensuring safety and efficiency on every job site.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute project specifications accurately
- Perform framing, concrete forming, finishing, and restoration tasks with precision
- Install siding, framing, and other structural components using hand tools and power tools
- Operate heavy equipment safely for lifting, excavation, or material transport as needed
- Utilize woodworking skills for custom carpentry projects and detailed finish work
- Conduct welding tasks to join metal components when required
- Use scaffolding, ladders, and other equipment to access elevated work areas safely
- Heavy lifting of materials and equipment to support construction activities
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
Experience
- Proven experience in construction-related roles with proficiency in blueprint reading and schematics interpretation
- Hands-on experience with framing, concrete forming, finishing, and restoration projects
- Skilled in siding installation, carpentry, woodworking, and the operation of power tools
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy lifting, power tools, and heavy equipment operation
- Prior experience working with construction teams on residential or commercial sites is advantageous
