Registered Massage Therapist-Independent Contractor
Min’s Sun Dance Massage & Wellness Clinic is seeking qualified Registered Massage Therapists to join our growing Calgary wellness practice.
The clinic is seeking all kinds of massage therapy experience with particular interest in therapists with training or experience in Thai massage or Thai stretching techniques.
This is an independent contractor position. The therapist is paid a percentage of the amount billed for each completed treatment session.
Therapists control their own schedules through our online booking system. We are looking for someone prepared to make their calendar available for client bookings at least two days per week. Additional availability is welcome.
This opportunity may suit an established therapist looking to add another clinic location, or a motivated practitioner who wants to build a client base with the support of an active and growing clinic.

Responsibilities
- Provide safe, professional and client-focused massage treatments
- Maintain complete and accurate treatment records
- Manage availability through the clinic’s online scheduling system
- Maintain professional boundaries and client confidentiality
- Comply with all professional association requirements
- Maintain current professional liability insurance
- Contribute to a respectful, dependable and professional clinic environment
- Maintain online booking availability for at least two days per week
Applicants must:
- Be fully qualified to practise massage therapy in Alberta
- Be a member in good standing with a recognized professional massage therapy association
- Carry current professional liability insurance
- Be eligible for clients to claim treatments through extended-health benefit plans
- Have strong communication and client-care skills
- Be dependable, professional and comfortable working independently
Experience in any of the following is an asset:
- Thai massage
- Thai stretching
- Deep-tissue massage
- Therapeutic massage
- Sports massage
- Prenatal massage
- Relaxation massage
Newer therapists who are fully qualified and motivated to build their practices are welcome to apply.
