Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Production Line Worker to join our manufacturing team in a fast-paced food processing environment. This role is vital for ensuring efficient production, maintaining food safety standards, and supporting overall operational excellence. Duties
- Operate packaging machinery and assist with the assembly of food products on the production line
- Ensure products are correctly packaged according to quality standards and specifications
- Perform sanitation and cleaning of equipment and work areas to maintain food safety compliance
- Assist with inventory management, including forklift operation when necessary
- Monitor production processes to identify and report any mechanical issues or deviations
- Follow all safety protocols related to food processing, sanitation, and equipment operation
- Support quality control procedures by inspecting products for defects or inconsistencies
- Maintain accurate records of production output and materials used using basic math skills
Skills
- Experience or familiarity with packaging processes in a manufacturing setting preferred
- Forklift certification or experience is a plus for material handling tasks
- Knowledge of the food industry, including food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic equipment issues
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory and quality checks
- Strong attention to detail to ensure product quality and safety compliance
- Understanding of manufacturing workflows and ability to work efficiently in a team environment
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of sanitation and safety throughout all duties
Pay: $18.00-$18.50 per hour
