Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Sheet Metal Worker to join our growing manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating or assembling with precision and efficiency. Duties
- Show up on time and operate your assigned machine daily to meet production goals
- work with several co-workers in a open and friendly enviroment
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Operate CNC laser cutting machines, press brake machines, and other machining tools to shape sheet metal accurately.
- Use hand tools, calipers, and mechanical knowledge to cut, bend, and form sheet metal parts
- Conduct quality inspections using measurement tools and visual checks to ensure all components meet specifications.
- Operate forklifts and cranes safely for material handling and positioning of large or heavy sheet metal pieces.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety guidelines at all times.
Qualifications
- All operators are given sufficient training based on your expected role in the company.
- Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Worker or in a similar manufacturing role involving sheet metal fabrication.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, mechanical principles, and quality inspection techniques.
- Ability to operate hand tools effectively and perform basic math calculations related to measurements and material estimations.
- Valid certification or training in crane operation and forklift driving is highly desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on precision machining and assembly standards.
- Good physical condition with the ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials safely. You will not be expected to perform demanding tasks or otherwise risk your physical well being.
