Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Security Systems Installer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience installing, programming, and maintaining a variety of security systems, including CCTV, intruder alarms, access control, and intercom systems. You’ll work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-standard installations and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and test security systems including CCTV, alarms, access control, and door entry systems
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on existing systems
- Ensure installations comply with industry standards and company procedures
- Accurately document completed work, materials used, and system configurations
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain system operation and address questions or concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment and company vehicle
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies
Requirements
- Proven experience as a security system installer or similar technical role
- Strong knowledge of CCTV, alarm, and access control systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Good communication and customer service skills
