Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and create a welcoming environment for all patrons. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems, including Micros POS.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation meets quality standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, utensils, and service stations in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Assist in food preparation and kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth service flow.
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy hours.
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met consistently.
Skills
- Experience with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling practices.
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is advantageous.
- Ability to multitask effectively with excellent time management skills.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and billing.
- Familiarity with food preparation, serving techniques, and restaurant operations.
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with guests and team members.
