The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for ensuring that the cleanliness and the quality of the Hotel's guest rooms meet the highest of Industry standards, therefore providing our guest's with an outstanding experience.
Job duties:
-Clean and sanitize all assigned rooms, areas and corridors as per brand standard.
-Respond professionally and courteously to all guest requests.
-Adhere to standards of appearance.
-Set up housekeeping cart; ensure all room supplies and amenities available in cart for start of shift.
-Clean, dust and polish all surfaces, vacuum and clean all floor surfaces.
-Replace towels and replenish guest room amenities and/or public area supplies.
-Check all room appliances to ensure they are present and in working order.
-Report all room deficiencies including smoking in or damages to guest room, malfunctioning equipment, furniture repairs, light bulb replacements etc. following the work order process.
-Report lost and found items to housekeeping manager or supervisor.
-Update and complete housekeeping task sheet as required.
-Follow safe work practices in addition to safety and sanitation policies to maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work area at all times.
-Understand the emergency procedures for the housekeeping department and the entire hotel.
-Other duties as assigned.
