Duties:
- Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons
- Assist customers in selecting and purchasing marijuana products
- Educate customers on the different strains, products, and consumption methods
- Maintain knowledge of current regulations and compliance standards
- Accurately handle cash transactions and maintain a balanced cash drawer
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dispensary
- Assist with inventory management and restocking shelves
- Follow all safety protocols and ensure a safe environment for both employees and customers
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a retail or customer service role preferred
- Knowledge of marijuana strains, products, and consumption methods is a plus
- Experience with cash handling and operating a computerized point-of-sale system
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are beneficial for assisting diverse customers
Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to provide personalized recommendations
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
- Upselling skills to promote additional products or services to customers
- Proficiency in computer operation for processing transactions and maintaining records
- Cashiering skills to accurately handle cash transactions and maintain a balanced cash drawer
- Leadership skills to assist in training new employees and supervising daily operations
