About Sleep Shop
Sleep Shop is a family-owned Canadian specialty sleep retailer that has been helping people sleep better for over 45 years. Since 1979, we've built our reputation on honest advice, exceptional service, and helping customers find the right sleep solution—not simply selling mattresses.
We're looking for an experienced Sales Consultant who is confident, motivated by earning potential, and thrives in a consultative sales environment.
Compensation
Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission.

What You'll Do
- Work Saturdays, Sundays, and three weekdays each week.
- Welcome customers and provide a professional, consultative shopping experience.
- Ask insightful questions to understand each customer's sleep needs, health concerns, lifestyle, and budget.
- Recommend complete sleep solutions including mattresses, adjustable bases, pillows, and accessories.
- Build trust, confidently overcome objections, and close sales.
- Follow up with customers before and after delivery to ensure an outstanding experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting showroom.
- Contribute to both personal sales goals and overall store success.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of successful retail sales experience.
- Proven track record succeeding in a commission-based sales environment.
- Confident closing sales while maintaining a customer-first approach.
- Strong consultative selling skills—you enjoy asking questions, listening, educating, and recommending the right solution.
- Self-motivated, competitive, and driven to maximize your earning potential.
- Experience selling mattresses, furniture, appliances, home furnishings, or other high-value products is a strong asset.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
