Working under the direction of the President, the Territory Manager - Senior Project Manager’s essential functions are as follows:
1. Oversee day-to-day restoration operations across all assigned projects, ensuring work is executed in accordance with company standards, insurer requirements, and industry best practices;
2. Provide operational leadership and support to Project Managers, Coordinators, and on-site teams to ensure projects are properly scoped, scheduled, and delivered;
3. Review inspection reports, estimates, and scopes of work for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with Xactimate and insurer guidelines;
4. Ensure critical paths and project schedules are established at the outset of each job and monitored throughout the project lifecycle;
5. Ensure all crews, subcontractors, and worksites are safety compliant in accordance with Ministry of Labour requirements, IICRC standards, WSIB, and internal safety policies;
6. Communicate effectively with internal teams, subcontractors, insurers, adjusters, and clients to establish clear expectations and resolve issues promptly;
7. Manage and maintain subcontractor performance, capacity, and compliance in coordination with site and project staff to ensure timelines and quality standards are met;
8. Monitor operational performance to meet or exceed gross profit margin targets across all projects;
9. Support tender submissions, pricing strategy, and operational input on prospective job opportunities;
10. Ensure accurate, up-to-date file notes, documentation, and job records are maintained on all active and ongoing files;
11. Collaborate with internal departments including Finance, HR, and Administration to support smooth project execution and billing;
12. Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients, insurers, and industry partners while supporting business development initiatives;
13. Participate in marketing and industry events such as trade shows, networking events, and industry functions as required;
14. Work independently with minimal supervision once operational priorities, expectations, and reporting requirements are established;
15. Other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
· 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Thursday and 8:00 am to 3:00 pm on Friday's.
· Availability to respond to 24-hour emergency situations during rotating on-call status
· On-site locations and office when required
· Sustained periods of standing & sitting
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate is incredibly organized, punctual, with remarkable problem-solving capabilities. Has strong communication skills and is able to work independently or as a team.
Minimum of 3 years restoration & construction experience. Xactimate & DASH/Xcelerate experience considered an asset. IICRC Certification considered an asset.
Completion of Construction/Engineering Technology Program Diploma or Certificate
Valid Drivers License
Ability to pass a background check
