Position: QE Automation Engineer
Location : Toronto
Mode of Work : Hybrid (3 days a week)
This job posting is for an existing, active vacancy and we are looking to hire a QE Automation Engineer with API & Cloud testing with AEM.
Summary:
We are looking for a QE Automation Engineer on Client's Digital Commerce team, who will build and maintain automated test coverage for UI, API, regression, smoke, accessibility, and cross-browser scenarios across AEM and Adobe Experience Cloud integrations.
You will work in close partnership with developers, BSA's, and the QE Lead to embed quality deeply into every stage of the software delivery lifecycle.
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain UI, API, regression, smoke, and cross-browser automation suites; integrate them into CI/CD pipelines for fast, reliable feedback
- Validate responsive behaviour, consent flows, accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA), and core digital customer journeys across devices and browsers
- Execute API and security-oriented test scenarios for AEM and integrated Adobe platform services; validate data flow integrity across platform integrations
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution; support defect triage and provide root-cause insights to developers and leads
- Contribute to continuous test improvement expanding coverage, eliminating flaky tests, and improving suite reliability with each release cycle
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (PIPEDA) and security standards in all test design and execution activities
- Support release gates and participate in sprint ceremonies including test planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives
Qualifications & Skills :
- 3+ years in test automation with demonstrated experience in UI, API, and integration testing for web-based digital platforms
- Proficiency with modern test automation frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium) and API testing tools
- Experience with cross-browser and cross-device testing, defect lifecycle management, and CI/CD pipeline integration
- Prior experience testing Adobe Experience Cloud products (AEM, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, AEP)
- Familiarity with accessibility testing tools (axe, lighthouse, NVDA) and WCAG 2.1 compliance validation
- Experience in financial services digital environments with privacy and consent-related testing requirements
