Job Summary
Alpha College is seeking an organized and student-focused professional to support students throughout their academic journey, practical training, and career preparation.
The successful candidate will provide individual guidance, coordinate practical training arrangements, maintain accurate student records, and communicate with healthcare and community partners. This position requires strong organization, professionalism, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide students through practical training requirements, required documentation, clearances, and important deadlines.
- Review student records and follow up on outstanding requirements.
- Coordinate practical training arrangements and communications with approved healthcare partners.
- Support students before, during, and after their practical training experience.
- Track student progress, maintain accurate records, and identify concerns requiring follow-up.
- Respond to student questions and provide clear, professional guidance.
- Deliver student orientations, information sessions, and career-readiness support.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with healthcare organizations and community partners.
- Assist with partnership outreach, onboarding documentation, and administrative coordination.
- Collaborate with instructors and administrative staff to support program completion.
- Prepare internal updates, correspondence, and program-related documentation.
- Handle student information with discretion and confidentiality.
- Perform other related student-services and program-support duties as required.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in education, business administration, healthcare administration, human services, or a related field.
- Experience in student services, career services, program administration, healthcare coordination, or a related role is preferred.
- Familiarity with Personal Support Worker education, long-term care, home care, or community healthcare is an asset.
- Experience supporting students or clients from diverse backgrounds is preferred.

Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- Occasional evening or weekend availability may be required

Pay: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
