Job Summary:
The DM 3rd level Apprentice Team Member will work closely with the DM team to learn, support and execute the activities of the DM department. The DM Apprentice Team Member is required to follow the TTCA Apprenticeship Opportunity Policy and enroll and participate in the classroom and on the job training. Pay is based on the TTCA Apprenticeship Policy.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Must complete in school training and demonstrate on the job competencies as required to achieve trade certification.
- Assist with troubleshooting and repairing of dies.

Perform preventative maintenance.

Assist with all duties within the department as assigned

Set up and operate milling machines, lathes, surface grinders etc.
Key Skills and Characteristics:
-
Must be available to attend in school training (including own transportation)

Mechanical aptitude
-
Good understanding of equipment, parts and tools.
-
Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
-
Willing to obtain certification and operate forklift, overhead crane.

Must be able to lift up to 33 lbs, tandem lifting of items over 33lbs

Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Wage: From $36.13
