The Headache, Migraine & Concussion Centre (HMCC) is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our growing multidisciplinary team. The IV Infusion Nurse will be responsible for delivering safe, effective infusion therapies while ensuring compliance with all healthcare standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer IV and IM medications under physician supervision.
- Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after infusions.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and adverse reactions.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to CNO and clinic standards.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and professional clinical environment.
- Provide education to patients and caregivers regarding treatment care plans.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
- BLS certification required; ACLS an asset.
- Minimum 2 years of IV/infusion experience (hospital or infusion clinic preferred).
- Experience with biologics, IV antibiotics, or pediatric patients is considered an asset.
- Valid Ontario driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
