Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items following established recipes and presentation standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including cooking stations and storage spaces
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with safety regulations and sanitation standards
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently during meal preparation
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours
- Monitor food quality and presentation before serving to guests
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to prevent cross-contamination and ensure food safety compliance
Experience
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant kitchens is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen safety procedures is advantageous
- Experience with meal preparation, food handling, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness is desirable
- Familiarity with the food industry environment, including serving standards and customer service skills, will be beneficial
