Overview
As a Mary Browns Chicken Crew Member, you will be the face of our restaurant, delivering quick, friendly service and high-quality food in a fast-paced environment. You will work as part of a team to prepare menu items, serve customers, maintain cleanliness, and ensure every guest has a positive experience. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in dynamic settings and enjoy working with people.
Duties
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, take accurate orders at the counter, drive-thru, or kiosk, and process payments efficiently using POS systems.
- Food Preparation: Prepare menu items according to company recipes and standards, including cooking, assembling, and packaging food (burgers, fries, salads, beverages, etc.).
- Order Fulfillment: Ensure orders are prepared quickly and accurately while maintaining food safety and quality standards.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with kitchen and service team members to maintain smooth operations during peak hours.
- Cleanliness & Safety: Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sweeping, mopping, dishwashing, stocking supplies, and sanitizing equipment. Follow all food safety, health, and workplace safety guidelines.
- Cash Handling: Accurately handle cash, credit/debit transactions, and reconcile registers at the end of shifts.
- Upselling & Guest Experience: Suggest additional menu items and address customer concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
Requirements
- Prior experience with Mary Brown's Chicken is an asset.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; no prior experience required (on-the-job training provided).
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and counting change.
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 40 lbs, and move quickly between stations. Frequent use of hands for food prep and cleaning.
- Availability: Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and after midnight.
Pay: From $17.60 per hour
