Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team and help maintain a pristine, safe, and welcoming environment. In this role, you will be responsible for performing thorough cleaning and custodial tasks across various commercial spaces. Your efforts will ensure that our facilities uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and professionalism.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing all designated areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms by cleaning fixtures, replenishing supplies, and disinfecting surfaces regularly.
- Ensure trash is collected, emptied, and properly disposed of in accordance with waste management protocols.
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors to ensure clarity and shine.
- Use commercial cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, carpet cleaners, and pressure washers safely and effectively.
- Restock cleaning supplies and materials as needed to support ongoing custodial operations.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for all staff.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management for quick resolution.
- Collaborate with team members to complete daily cleaning schedules efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, including use of various cleaning tools and chemicals safely.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively throughout shifts.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks for extended periods.
- Good communication skills to follow instructions clearly and work collaboratively with team members.
- A commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment aligned with health regulations and company standards.
