Residential HVAC Installer (G2 Licensed)
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Residential HVAC Installer (G2 Licensed) to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with strong installation experience who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service.
You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and servicing residential HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and efficiency for our customers. Your technical expertise and attention to detail will play a key role in maintaining our reputation for reliability and excellence.
Responsibilities
- Install residential HVAC systems including:
- Air conditioners
- Furnaces
- Heat pumps
- Boilers and ventilation systems
- Follow HVAC design plans, schematics, and local codes during all installations
- Perform system testing, commissioning, and inspections to ensure proper operation
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems when required
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications
- Work with refrigerant lines, ductwork, and basic plumbing connections
- Use diagnostic tools such as gauges, meters, and testing equipment
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company procedures
- Maintain accurate service reports and job documentation
- Provide professional customer interaction on-site
Qualifications
- Valid G2 Gas License (MANDATORY)
- two years hands-on experience installing residential HVAC systems
- Strong understanding of HVAC/R systems and installation practices
- Ability to read and work from schematics and blueprints
- Refrigerant piping
- Electrical connections
- System startup and commissioning
- Comfortable using HVAC tools and diagnostic equipment
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Physically capable of lifting equipment and working in tight spaces
Assets (Preferred but Not Required)
- Experience with boilers or hydronic systems
- Sheet metal / ductwork fabrication experience
- Basic electrical or plumbing knowledge
- Previous service technician experience
