Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Class 2 or 3 Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, diagnosing, and solving mechanical and electrical problems to ensure optimal performance and safety. Responsibilities
- Perform routine mechanical inspections and preventative maintenance including wheel alignments, brake services, oil changes, fluid flushes, belts, and timing chains.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools, then execute repairs efficiently.
- Utilize electrical experience to troubleshoot wiring issues or electrical problems.
- Install and balance tires.
- Operate lifts and tools safely to disassemble, repair, and install mechanical components.
- Value being a team player while working independently with little or no supervision.
- Communicate by connecting and sharing perspectives.
- Maintain a clean and courteous environment, and follow safety protocols to prevent accidents or injuries.
Skills & Requirements
- Valid class 2 or 3 mechanic's certificate with a minimum of 5 years of experience and valid driver's license.
- Experience with scan tools, comprehending electrical diagrams and wires, and troubleshooting electrical problems.
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair, electrical systems, schematics, and mechanical components.
- Ability to perform wheel alignments (an asset).
- Ability to operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently in various environments.
- Excellent standards of quality control and customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and clients when needed.
- Desire to learn and apply knowledge gained, and take direction when needed.

Pay: $23.31-$45.00 per hour
