Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Window Cleaning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of commercial and residential windows, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction. This role requires physical stamina, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
Duties
- Clean windows on various types of facilities using hand tools, water fed poles, and specialized cleaning equipment
- Perform facilities maintenance tasks related to window cleaning, including the use of ladders, scaffolding, and other access equipment
- Utilize custodial experience to ensure thorough cleaning of glass surfaces and surrounding areas
- Operate heavy lifting equipment safely to handle supplies and equipment needed for window cleaning projects
- Manage time effectively to complete scheduled appointments within designated timeframes
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service
- Maintain safety standards by following proper procedures during all cleaning activities
- Assist with general facility maintenance tasks as needed
Requirements
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning, custodial work, or facilities maintenance is preferred
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment is highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights using ladders or scaffolding safely
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high standard of quality
- Physical stamina to stand, climb, lift, and perform cleaning duties throughout the workday
- Valid driver’s license is a plus for travel between job sites
