As a Packaging Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and safe operation of the Packaging area, including rework and palletizing. You will play a critical role in driving performance, ensuring compliance with safety and HACCP standards, and developing team capability while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Oversee daily operations within the Packaging area, including rework and palletizing activities

Monitor, record, and analyze equipment issues; collaborate with maintenance and technical teams to resolve them

Liaise with mechanical and electrical coaches based on daily meeting insights and system data to drive timely corrective actions

Communicate effectively with employees and management to ensure alignment on priorities and performance

Ensure full compliance with HACCP guidelines, policies, and documentation requirements

Train, coach, and mentor new and existing employees, ensuring capability across all roles including rework and palletizing

Promote and support continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Sigma and Kaizen events

Actively support and participate in MDI practices and processes

Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information

Work collaboratively with team members and leadership to achieve production goals while managing multiple priorities

Grade 12 diploma or GED (mandatory)

Demonstrated leadership and team development skills

Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a manufacturing environment

Strong ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

Experience working in high-pressure situations with a positive and solution-focused mindset

Knowledge or experience with SAP, Kronos, and WMS (considered an asset)

Strong commitment to safety, with a proven “Safety First” mindset

Ability to uphold company code of conduct and maintain confidentiality

Proven ability to collaborate, problem-solve, and drive change in a team environment

You will be part of the Packaging operations team, working closely with cross-functional partners including maintenance, leadership, and production teams. The role plays a key part in ensuring operational excellence and developing frontline capability within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Compensation Package: - Starting at 27.41 CAD hourly + Bonus eligibility + Hourly Pay Differential for applicable shifts
