Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Site Supervisor to oversee Concrete construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations on-site, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical knowledge of construction processes, and proficiency with industry-standard software tools. The Site Supervisor will coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to deliver high-quality results aligned with project specifications.
Duties
- Supervise daily construction activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project schedules
- Coordinate and oversee subcontractors and construction teams to maintain workflow efficiency
- Review blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate implementation of design specifications
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, and Primavera P6 for project tracking and documentation
- Conduct quality control inspections to verify work meets industry standards and client expectations
- Assist in budgeting and cost control measures to keep projects within financial targets
- Prepare and review construction estimates and schedules based on project requirements
- Monitor progress through blueprint reading and schematic analysis to identify potential issues early
- Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and team members regarding project updates
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience in the concrete/construction industry with a strong understanding of construction management practices
- Solid knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating processes
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately
- Experience in quality control procedures and maintaining safety standards on-site
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Knowledge of budgeting principles relevant to large-scale construction projects
- Relevant certifications or training in construction management or related fields are preferred
