Shipping Team LeaderKey Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate daily shipping and receiving operations to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient movement of goods.
- Supervise, storage activities/operations and support team members while assigning work and monitoring productivity and performance.
- Ensure inventory accuracy, proper documentation, and compliance with company policies, food safety, and health & safety standards.
- Communicate and coordinate with carriers, warehouse teams, and other departments to resolve operational issues.
- Monitor KPIs, identify process improvements, support other Amir divisions when required, and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in shipping, receiving, warehousing, or logistics, with leadership or supervisory experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, email, and experience with WMS/ERP systems; an IT background is an asset.
- Valid Forklift, Reach Truck, and Walkie Operator certifications, with the ability to work in refrigerated environments and lift to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of inventory control, transportation, workplace health & safety, GMP, and food manufacturing or cold-chain operations is preferred
Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
