Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in various carpentry tasks, demonstrating a strong ability to work independently and collaboratively on construction projects. This role requires proficiency in installation, restoration, and the use of power tools, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Execute carpentry tasks including framing, drywall installation, and flooring installation.
- Perform construction estimating to assess project requirements and materials needed.
- Utilize CNC machinery for precision cutting and shaping of materials.
- Restore and repair existing structures to maintain safety and aesthetics.
- Lay tile with attention to detail for both functionality and appearance.
- Conduct electrical installations as required by project specifications.
- Engage in heavy lifting as necessary to transport materials and equipment.
- Operate various power tools safely and effectively while maintaining a clean work environment.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution.
Skills
- Proficient in installation techniques across various carpentry disciplines.
- Strong understanding of construction estimating practices.
- Experience with CNC machinery is highly desirable.
- Ability to restore structures with a keen eye for detail.
- Skilled in tile laying with knowledge of different materials and techniques.
- Basic electrical knowledge is a plus for integrated projects.
- Capable of performing heavy lifting safely within physical limits.
- Expertise in flooring installation methods and materials.
- Proficient in the safe operation of power tools, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Familiarity with drywall installation processes and finishing techniques.
