Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled DZ Front End Loader/ Swing Driver to join our team.
TIPS(Truck It Personnel Services) is seeking an experienced Front End Driver to join a growing solid team out of our Etobicoke Location. The driver will be primarily responsible will operating front end, rear packer and straight trucks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Satisfy customer needs for service. Ensure that service is completed in accordance with established policies.
- Responsible for daily pre and post trip inspections.
- Complete an assigned daily route as assigned by the Operations Manager.
- Daily route consists of driving to customer sites, secure bin on truck, empty bin at transfer station, return bin to customer site.
- Perform driver check-ins at day’s end to ensure complete and accurate paperwork completion.
- Ensure assigned routes are completed in a timely and safe manner.
- Ensure that all protocols are followed while dumping loads at municipal recycling/waste facilities.
- May perform some additional responsibilities as assigned by the Operations Manager.
- Cover off equipment and routes as required
Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:
- Must be able to drive Manual Transmission
- Valid DZ license and Driver’s Abstract in good standing
- 2 years’ experience of driving Front-End Truck
- 2 Years' straight truck experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to perform routine vehicle maintenance
- Demonstrated organizational skills with strong oral and written communication abilities
- Must be familiar with GTA area
- High level of personal integrity and work ethic
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Confident, consistent, decisive personality
- Manual dexterity, ability to lift 50 lbs. required.
Shift: Mon-Fri 5 am start with ability to cover early PM shift as required
Pay Rate: $33.80
