The BC Mail Plus – Mail Payment and Document Processing (MPDP) team of 25-30 employees are an energic, diverse and dynamic team committed to providing mail, payment and document processing services to the BC Public Service. Their collaborative approach and adaptability ensure consistent, high-quality results in supporting critical government operations.
The Role
The MPDP Clerk plays a critical role in the efficient management and processing of high-value financial records and tax returns within a secure and tightly controlled environment. As a key member of a team responsible for processing $8 billion annually, this position demands exceptional attention to detail, adherence to stringent audit controls, and compliance with government regulations and core policy. This role offers the chance to contribute to essential government services, where your work directly supports citizens and helps maintain trust in public programs.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements
- 2 years administrative or clerical experience; or an equivalent combination of related education (e.g. Office Administration or Accounting).
- Experience in keyboarding/data entry, word processing, creating spreadsheets and working with standard computer applications (e.g., Word, Excel and Outlook).
- 2 years experience with understanding and applying legislation.
Preference
- Preference may be given to applicants with Remittance Application experience such as Mavbridge, Opex, Tungsten Kofax.

- This job is required to work in Victoria BC. The successful candidate must reside or be willing to reside in Victoria within 30 days of accepting the position.

This position has full time on-site requirements.
This is an “as and when required” position and a minimum number of hours of work is not guaranteed.
This is a temporary opportunity until March 31, 2027.
