Job Description
The Marketing Representative position is a part-time, lead prospecting role from self-generated door-knocking leads in the field. The Representative is creating washing services quotes, such as roof moss removal, gutter cleaning, exterior window cleaning and pressure washing, for homeowners at their homes. The availability for the role is 12-16 hours per week. The available shifts are 3-4 hours during weekday evenings and weekend mornings.
What does a typical day look like?
The General Manager provides vetted areas for where the Representative will be knocking. The Representative will then drive/bike/bus to the neighbourhood they will be doing. During the shift, the Representative will keep track of the streets they have done, so houses aren’t knocked twice. The Representative will wear appropriate footwear for walking between houses. When a lead is acquired, it will be input into a customer relationship management software app called Jobber. The goal of the Representative is to get as much information as possible from the homeowner for the quote. The information needed is name, phone number, email, address, and services they’d like quoted. If a homeowner is interested, it is the Representative’s responsibility to show assertiveness and get a quote started. Since the Representative is communicating with the client at their home, being respectful and friendly is very important. The quote is created using a company-provided iPad and then provided in person directly to the homeowner, or it is sent through email and/or text. Once the quote is provided, the Representative moves on to the next house to continue door-knocking.

Training
Hands-on, in-the-field training is provided by our General Manager.
Compensation
- $18/hour + $5/lead for the first 4 leads/shift + $10/lead for all leads beyond the first 4 leads/shift (The fifth lead is paid at $10)
