Overview:
Stone Design Concepts, an industry- leading company specializing in commercial-grade quartz and granite fabrication and installation. We’re currently looking for a reliable and motivated Shop Hand to join our team full-time at our Ottawa location.
This is a hands-on role that involves working with CNC stone fabrication equipment, helping load jobs, and supporting production. If you’re detail-oriented, team-focused, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Load jobs on 5-axis saws and edge profiling machines
Follow schedules and instructions from the Production Manager
Review job drawings and programs for accuracy
Check block setups and resolve issues as needed
Complete scheduled tasks efficiently and with attention to detail
Assist with troubleshooting and quality control
QUALIFICATIONS/ATTRIBUTES:
Experience with stone fabrication equipment (preferred)
Previous experience in a shop, construction, or manufacturing setting
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Reliable and punctual work ethic
Ability to work both independently and with a team
Comfortable working in a physical, hands-on environment
Verbal English required; French is an asset
Schedule:
8-hour day shifts
Monday to Friday
Overtime available as needed
Experience (preferred but not required):
Granite or quartz fabrication: 1 year
Construction or manufacturing: 1 year

Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
