Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented General Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. This role involves supporting various warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, and equipment operation. The ideal candidate will have warehouse experience and familiarity with heavy equipment to ensure efficient and safe daily operations. This position offers opportunities for growth within the warehouse management system and exposure to manufacturing and distribution processes.
Duties
- Load and unload materials using forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and other heavy equipment
- Operate order picker and other warehouse machinery safely and efficiently
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment following established procedures
- Manage shipping & receiving tasks, including verifying incoming and outgoing shipments
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems such as AS400
- Assist with inventory counts, stock replenishment, and organization of warehouse space
- Support manufacturing processes by handling raw materials or finished goods as needed
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all operations involving heavy lifting and equipment use
- Perform general housekeeping duties to keep the warehouse clean and organized
Experience
- Prior warehouse experience is highly preferred, especially in distribution or manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and order pickers
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation is a plus
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) like AS400 or similar platforms
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures and order fulfillment processes
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods
- Construction or logistics background is advantageous but not required
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and warehouse activities

Pay: Up to $25.33 per hour
