Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Countertop Supervisor to lead our manufacturing and installation teams in delivering high-quality countertop solutions. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, coordinate fabrication processes, and ensure the timely completion of projects. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of countertop fabrication and installation teams to ensure efficient workflow and quality standards are met
- Oversee the use of heavy equipment, forklifts, power tools, hand tools, and machining equipment to facilitate cutting, shaping, and assembly of countertop materials
- Ensure all manufacturing processes adhere to safety protocols, including proper operation of welding equipment and heavy machinery
- Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished products within warehouse settings
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the fabrication process to verify precision, durability, and aesthetic standards
- Train team members on proper use of tools, machinery, and safety procedures to foster a safe working environment
- Collaborate with project managers to schedule installations and coordinate delivery timelines for customer satisfaction
Experience
- Proven experience in manufacturing or construction environments with a focus on countertop or similar surface fabrication
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to machining, assembly, welding, and the operation of heavy equipment
- Hands-on experience with forklift operation, power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment
- Prior supervisory or team lead experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting preferred
- Knowledge of construction processes and safety regulations applicable to heavy equipment operation and material handling
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications accurately
- Excellent communication skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving
