General Manager – Boutique Fitness - Sales & Operations (Pilates Studio)
Club Pilates Wychwood is not your usual Pilates Studio - it is a boutique Pilates community, providing equipment based classes to the Junction area.
We are looking for a General Manager who brings leadership, passion and drive. Someone who can create energy, run the business, create a high performing team and continue to foster the studio community (inside and outside of the studio).
What this role is not - a front-desk role or a lifestyle job
What this role is - hands on General Manager with a focus on sales execution, high boutique fitness standards and results

The Role:
Sales and Execution
- Driving membership sales performance across the whole team (front desk staff and instructors)
- Following, living and control managing the sales process (process is defined, execution and adherence required)
- Leading by example, holding yourself to high standards - coaching team
- Owning the metrics and top line revenue - meet and exceed targets
Operations
- Scheduling, payroll inputs
- Maintain studio cleanliness and operational standards
- Solve problems before they become issues
Team Management and Development
- Recruit, train, schedule and develop staff
- Set weekly and monthly expectations - hold people accountable
- Create a high performing culture, ensuring a fun boutique fitness environment
Community and Member Experience
- Build relationships with members and the community
- Create in studio and out of studio events for members and prospects
- Create a space for EveryBODY
Background:
- 3-5+ years experience in fitness, hospitality or fast-paced service leadership
- Proven sales track record — sales leadership or quota-carrying experience
- Experience leading a team, with strong coaching experience
- Manage operations - budgets, targets, schedules, equipment inspections, whatever the day throws at you
- Passion for wellness & community — that is what gets you out of bed in the morning!
This role is NOT for:
- Someone who does not like metrics, tracking and accountability (for your individual work and your team’s work)
- Cannot self motivate and/or cannot motivate others
- Dislikes to be coached
- Does not understand that a manager has whole studio responsibility, which means jumping in at all levels, whenever needed
Compensation
- Base salary + monthly performance-based bonus - tied directly to execution and results
- $80,000+ annual earning potential for strong performers
Excellent performance is compensated, however, underperformance will be addressed and directly impact overall compensation
