Located on Resources Road, just four kilometers south of Grande Prairie’s city limits. The Dunes Golf & Winter Club has a restaurant called the Master's Lounge located upstairs in the Clubhouse. This is a seasonal job opportunity from June to September. You will be a member of a cohesive team that supports each other’s success in a fast-paced environment. Understanding our culture and doing whatever it takes to create a positive and memorable experience for our guests is our number one priority. We are seeking motivated and talented dishwashers to join our Food and Beverage team. The perfect candidate will be reliable, friendly, professional and have time management skills.
Dishwasher – Core Responsibilities
- Dishwashing & Sanitization — Scrape, sort, and rinse soiled dishes, silverware, pots, and pans before loading them into commercial dishwashers or washing by hand when required.
- Station Organization — Maintain an orderly dish area and return clean items to designated storage locations so the kitchen team always has what they need.
- Kitchen Cleanliness — Sweep and mop floors, wipe down counters, clean large appliances, and break down boxes to keep the kitchen safe and efficient.
- Waste Management — Empty, clean, and re‑line garbage and recycling bins throughout the shift and at closing.
- Food Prep Assistance — Support the culinary team with simple prep tasks such as peeling vegetables or assembling takeout packaging when needed.
- Safety Compliance — Follow all health department hygiene standards and internal SOPs to maintain a safe, sanitary work environment.
Key Qualifications & Skills
- Physical Stamina — Able to stand for long periods, lift heavy items up to 50lbs, and perform repetitive, physically demanding tasks.
- Time Management — Prioritize dish loads effectively, ensuring essential pots, pans, and tools return to chefs quickly.
- Reliability — Strong work ethic and punctuality; the kitchen depends on consistent dishwasher support.
- Teamwork — Willingness to assist other back‑of‑house staff and communicate clearly in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
