Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Part-time Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and possess experience in food and beverage preparation. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks following established recipes and presentation standards
- Operate POS systems
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper change is given
- Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about products, and provide excellent customer service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and dinning area
- Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure a safe environment for customers and staff
- Restock supplies as needed, including cups, lids, condiments, and ingredients
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality
Requirements
- Previous barista experience and with latte art skill is a plus, but we also looking for the coffee lovers who want to develop their skills as well.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Ability to work well in a team environment and maintain a friendly demeanor under pressure
