Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess strong welding expertise, mechanical knowledge. This role involves working with various welding techniques and fabrication equipment. The position offers opportunities for professional growth within a dynamic industrial environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding on diverse materials.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions
- Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other measurement devices to ensure precision
- Operate drill press and other fabrication equipment
- Assist with machining, assembly, and installation of fabricated parts
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and procedures
- Collaborate with team members
Skills
- Proficiency in MIG welding, plasma cutting, and general welding techniques
- Mechanical knowledge related to fabrication processes and equipment operation
- Experience with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and basic math for measurements
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, calipers, and machining equipment
- Ability to operate forklifts and other heavy machinery safely
- Knowledge of rigging procedures for lifting and positioning heavy materials
- Construction experience or background in manufacturing environments is highly desirable
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety standards and quality assurance
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
