Hyperexponential (hx) Implementation Consultant
Contract
Our client, a leading North American Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance company, is seeking an experienced Hyperexponential (hx) Implementation Consultant to support the implementation of the hx Renew platform within a Commercial Insurance environment.
This is a contract opportunity supporting strategic transformation initiatives across Canada and the United States. The successful consultant will work closely with business, actuarial, underwriting, and technology teams to implement and integrate the hyperexponential platform into the organization's insurance ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the implementation and configuration of the hyperexponential (hx Renew) platform within a Commercial P&C insurance environment.

Collaborate with underwriting, actuarial, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Configure and optimize pricing and underwriting models within the hx platform.

Support the implementation of AI-powered underwriting workflows and automated pricing capabilities.

Integrate hx Renew with existing core insurance platforms and enterprise applications using API-based integrations.

Work closely with Guidewire, Duck Creek, or other policy administration platforms where applicable.

Assist with data mapping, migration, validation, and transformation from legacy systems into the hx platform.

Support testing, defect resolution, production readiness, and implementation activities.

Provide technical guidance and best practices throughout the implementation lifecycle.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Required Experience
- Hands-on implementation experience with hyperexponential (hx Renew).

Experience implementing hx within a Commercial Property & Casualty or Reinsurance environment.

Strong understanding of commercial insurance pricing, underwriting, and rating processes.

Experience integrating enterprise applications using REST APIs and modern integration patterns.

Experience working with Guidewire, Duck Creek, or similar core insurance platforms is highly desirable.

Knowledge of pricing engines, actuarial models, underwriting workbenches, or insurance decisioning platforms.

Experience working with Python or supporting actuarial pricing models is considered an asset.

Strong understanding of data mapping, data transformation, and system integration.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Previous consulting or implementation experience within large insurance organizations is preferred.
Nice to Have
- Experience with AI-enabled underwriting platforms.

Experience with cloud-based insurance platforms and modern API architectures.

Familiarity with machine learning assisted pricing or underwriting solutions.
