Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, cooking, and delivering exceptional food service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred, along with a strong understanding of food safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with safety and sanitation regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment
- Follow proper food safety procedures during meal preparation and service
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Monitor stock levels and communicate needs for replenishment
- Assist in plating and presentation of dishes to meet aesthetic standards
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a line cook in a restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of food handling, safety, and sanitation standards
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
