Our client, a leading wholesale distributor in the foodservice and retail sector, is seeking a Sales Representative / Business Development Associate for a 4–5 month full-time contract.
This role is ideal for a motivated and personable individual who enjoys building relationships, driving sales, and working in a field-based environment.
- Location: Barrie and surrounding areas
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Compensation: $20–$25/hour (based on experience)
- Visit restaurants and retail locations across Barrie and Simcoe County
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers
- Collect order details and support customer needs
- Upsell products and services to meet sales targets
- Distribute promotional materials and support marketing initiatives
- Identify and develop new customer accounts
- Maintain accurate records of customer visits, orders, and feedback
- Based locally in Barrie with the ability to travel within Simcoe County
- Valid G driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
- Previous sales or retail experience is an asset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
